The Outside Sales Executive is an important part of the team and you can leverage your prospecting, communication, and sales skills to find new sales opportunities. You’ll work closely with the Director of Sales to generate qualified leads and sales meetings that help us achieve our sales objectives.

 

Position Overview

The Outside Sales Executive will be responsible for growing our multifamily and student housing business and identify other high-volume applications for our Smart Locks and Smart Access systems.

 

Responsibilities

  • Increase sales
  • Establish new relationships with multifamily & student housing developers, operational managers, general contractors and architects
  • Get VIZpin specified on new construction and upgrade projects
  • Identify new high-volume applications for our products and develop assigned markets
  • Manage and grow our network of Certified Partners and Installers
  • Qualify leads and generate meetings by leveraging phone calls, emails and available resources
  • Utilize all available tools to prospect into new accounts
  • Consistently generate a high level of outbound prospecting activity
  • Follow opportunity development until closing
  • Build and maintain good relationships with customers
  • Maintain an up-to-date technical understanding of products, solutions, and business value propositions
  • Utilize CRM system to track activity and manage sales opportunities
  • Regularly achieve Key Performance Metrics
  • Meet quarterly and annual qualified opportunity goals

 

Skills and Experience

  • Success driven and desire to compete with the best
  • Resourceful and creative
  • At least 2 years of experience in the multifamily industry
  • Able to travel at least 30% of the time
  • Experience with Salesforce or equivalent CRM
  • 3+ years previous Lead Generation
  • Exceptional people skills and communicator
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Confident phone presence
  • Self-motivated, organized, and team oriented
  • Work smartly, ethically, and professionally to achieve quota objectives
